Welcome Year 2000! If you are reading this, YES,
we have all survived the bugs, problems, breakdowns and
malfunctions that could have occurred in the process of
turning 2000 years old. We said our farewells to the year l999.
With all those 9’s we were certainly in an ending cycle. It is
interesting that when you add 9 + 9 + 9+ 1 = 28 and 28 becomes 10
and when broken down further, it becomes 1. Number l represents
new beginnings, the number of creation and the time to start all
over again. l999 was a year of many health, prosperity, love and
peace challenges for numerous inhabitants of Planet Earth.
It was wonderful to find out how many people spent
the last minutes of l999 doing affirmations and saying prayers for
health, end of hunger, cures for all diseases, happiness and peace
for people on the planet. There was much love and Divine Wisdom
sent to Mother Earth and our World Leaders at that time as well.
We are in the year 2000 and Number 2 is the number
of choice and femininity. We now have a number 2 and three 0’s.
The zeros are empty spaces, indicating fresh, new beginnings and
the possibilities are unlimited. I am filling my zeros in with --
(a) a happy face for health and happiness, (b) a heart for love
and (c) a dollar sign for prosperity. What will you fill your
zeros in with? Have you given it much thought? Seize the new year
2000 with all the energy, excitement and enthusiasm of being the
proud owner of a brand, new shiny Cadillac (the vehicle) to take
you wherever you desire to go.

ALOHA and greetings from the Garden Isle of Kauai,
Hawaii and HAPPY Y2K!
As we enter the new millennium, let us not forget
that this is a chance for the whole world to start anew. Here we
are starting at the year "00." For me, it is a
completely new beginning because numerology states my number for
the year 2000 as #1 -- the first of a nine-year cycle. As 1999
completed my cyclical 9th year, I let go of and release all things
from my past. Past hurts, disappointments and loss. Anything
unwanted or negative is now left behind. I now look forward to a
happy, loving, joyful and successful nine-year cycle. This New
Year therefore holds special significance for me as well as for
the rest of the world.
I originally came to this island for a specific
reason, which did not materialize but I came alone nevertheless,
never realizing that I would receive much spiritual healing here.
I have always been "drawn" to this island, never really
fully understanding the depth of her spiritual life force. This
island has an effect on her people as everyone I met expressed and
acknowledged the spirituality one finds here. Kauai is very much
"alive" with the reverence of the God-presence. As I
studied the inhabitants, a calm, happy, smiling, peacefulness
exuded from the center of their being. This warm spirituality was
most evident in their eyes, both women and men alike.
I would now like to share ten of some of the ways
I dealt with my loss, disappointment and hurts.
1) BE BRAVE -- I went to Kauai knowing how
difficult the time alone there would be. Have the courage and
conviction to follow through with your plans, no matter how
difficult the task would prove.
2) FEEL YOUR FEELINGS AND ACKNOWLEDGE THEM --
Feel the pain, the anger, the
anguish and the loss. Breathe through it all and
live through it all. GO THROUGH (not around) it all.
Cry, share your life with others and listen to their similar
stories, realizing that you are not alone. Learn and grow. Diarize
-- record your feelings or the day's events. Write a letter to the
person/s who hurt you, then tear it up, burn it, destroy it, or
mail it. Let your spirit be your guide.
3) TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF -- Fall in love with
yourself. Pamper yourself. Buy something for yourself. Treat
yourself with loving kindness. Go to bed as late or as early as
you wish. Sleep in. Take long baths. Nurture yourself.
4) DRIVE OR GO FOR LONG WALKS -- Enjoy the
scenery. Revel in nature's beauty, taking a long, hard, loving
look at what is around you. Breathe in the fresh air -- REALLY
see and appreciate the flowers, the birds, the trees, the grass --
life all around you. Be observant. Look into people's eyes. Look
at the stars. Make a wish.
5) USE ALL YOUR SENSES -- See, smell, hear,
touch and taste. Especially use your sixth sense of intuition and
knowing. Go deep within.
6) BE IN THE PRESENT -- Neither live in the
past nor in the future. The past has already gone -- never to
return. The future has not yet arrived and you never know what it
will bring or what is around the corner.
7) SMILE -- You will be amazed at the smiles
coming back to you.
8) ACCEPT GIFTS -- Allow love to flow into
your life from strangers. Accept their hugs and hug them back. Let
them share your tears and happiness with you.
9) LEARN FROM YOUR EXPERIENCES -- Be one with
yourself and with God/nature. Be at peace.
10) SEEK OUR SPIRITUAL HELP AND GUIDANCE -- Go
beyond your boundaries and step out of your comfort zone.
I took a holistic nature walk into the sacred
mountains, with a wonderful, peaceful, loving woman named Dawn. I
did things I would never have done before. It was overcast when we
started out shortly after 10:00 a.m. We began our spiritual
adventure along a muddy, slippery path. We trekked through
overgrown paths, along streams. Periodically, we would stop along
the way as Dawn pointed out certain trees, flowers, plants and
their uses. We reverently touched rocks. It started to rain.
Although I hate the rain, somehow it did not bother me there. I
did not worry about how I looked or whether or not I was wet and
muddy. At this point, the mosquitoes were
having a field day with my fresh, juicy blood --
the mosquito repellent did not have any effect on them. We slid
down slippery rocks and finally came to a path along a river,
where there were cascading mini falls with swimming pools in
between. Our final resting place found us sitting on our rain gear
on the ground between a couple of huge boulders. With my back
against one and facing another, I could distinguish symbols in the
rocks and I started crying. Dawn lovingly held me and allowed the
tears to flow, just as the river beside and just below us did.
Bright red dragonflies came to rest on the boulder behind me. Dawn
informed me of the special significance of the Red Dragonflies.
They never left us all the time we were there. There were three of
them at one point but one in particular seemed to be our
"protector."
After being shown my personal 'Aumakua (guardian
spirit) in a meditation (mine is a dolphin), Dawn or "Ka'ula
Wena", which is her Hawaiian name, helped me to create my own
aloha spirit amulet. We did all this sitting under our umbrellas,
sitting "grounded" in the rain. Once my amulet was made,
the rain stopped and the sun started shining. Was this
significant? I believe it was. We then decided to swim in the
sacred healing waters and as I had forgotten to put my bathing
suit on under my clothes as Dawn had suggested, we both decided to
go swimming in the nude. NEVER had I done anything
so out of my comfort zone before, especially with another woman
(Dawn incidentally is happily married). The water was so cold and
we were both shivering, holding each other's hands for warmth and
laughing, all the while breathing in the beauty and God-presence
all around us. At that moment, I recalled a song called, "The
River" by Garth Brooks and it was so appropriate for the
moment, that Dawn and I began singing it. I reflected on my life
and where it was going.
Shortly thereafter and feeling refreshed and
renewed, almost reborn, we left the swimming pool, got dressed
back at our rocks and proceeded to make a Hawaiian wish. This was
the end of our spiritual quest. Our wishes were put into
specially-chosen rocks -- one for each of us and were then wrapped
firstly in 2 Red Ti leaves in the shape of a cross of an X, then
wrapped again (as before) in 2 more but this time bigger and Green
Ti leaves. The Ti leaves represent good luck, particularly the red
ones. We then left with our wish rocks wrapped in the 4 ti leaves.
These we placed in different locations, guided by our spirits,
going back along a different path from which we had come. Along
the way, Dawn again pointed out certain plants and flowers. Some
we ate but the most appealing was the tips of ferns. These little
curled up tips were soft and tasted like sunflower seeds. Muddy,
wet and having enjoyed a spiritual, healing experience, we
returned in a circuitous manner back at our cars. The circle was
complete almost 4 hours later.
To heal and to grow, we must open our hearts and
allow ourselves to love and to be loved but we must also learn to
release and forgive and so, in conclusion, I, Sandi, now forgive
everything and everyone that has ever hurt me by thought, word, or
deed. I forgive myself and I am forgiven. My thanks to the Divine,
to the island of Kauai, to all of nature and to all the wonderful
people I met for my new beginning. I now offer love and spiritual
healing to the world.

Do you feel that you have added a few inches or
pounds over the Holidays? If so, do not despair as this article
was written for you.
Be certain and say, "Drop, melt or burn, not
lose. If you say lose you will find it again!

Instead of beating yourself up for over-eating
during the holiday season, just accept the fact that you did gain
a few pounds and then go about dropping that excess weight and
inches
Do you wish to learn the secret of dropping that
excess weight and fat from the right places on your body and best
of all how to maintain that drop?
Peel off layers and layers of the excess fat one
by one from your wonderful body. With each layer you become closer
to releasing the real, slim and youthful you. You are uncovering
the magic genie within just waiting to be awakened and set
free. Although this extra fat and weight have been your friends
and faithful servants, it is now it is time to part company. Be
certain to thank them for their assistance. Advise them that their
services are no longer required. You have the tool to peel away
these layers of excess fat and weight. The tool is The Personal
Contract Affirmation Method performed faithfully with
feeling, belief and expectancy.
Affirmations are similar to prayers, wishes or
goals, only they are more structured and specific. Simply put, the
basis of all affirmations is positive thinking. To affirm is to
make firm.
The Personal Contract Affirmation Method
consists of four cornerstones -- (a) forgiveness (b) thoughts
& mind power, (c) affirmations and (d) creative visualization.
This is a process where you date and sign your Affirmation, making
it a legal, binding contract with yourself, God, Higher Power and
Universal Mind.
Your metabolism changes as you get older and you
do not require as many calories. Even if you exercise and eat the
same food, you can and sometimes do gain weight. This stubborn
weight usually settles around the waist, thighs, hips and
buttocks. You and you alone have the power to drop excess weight,
feel better, look better and be better. See your ideal image in
the mirror of your mind. The image held in your subconscious mind
actually affects your size and shape. Change your inner body image
to gain control of your weight permanently.
When you overeat and become morbidity obese, you
suffer the consequences. When you put on the extra weight, you
also take on other issues, some of which are ridicule, cruel
remarks and sometimes discrimination in relationships and in the
work place. The decision whether to stay at the weight you are or
drop weight is your decision and a very individual one. It
is important to be healthy. Some doctors feel that a rapid gain
and drop of weight can be more harmful to the individual than
being somewhat over the calculated ideal weight. Talk to your
doctor and agree on the ideal weight for you. It may not be what
the charts or the so called norm is, but it will better and
healthier for you.
Forgiveness heals and helps drop unwanted pounds
and inches. Resentment of self or diets can keep you for dropping
weight. Write out your reasons for wanting to drop weight. You
impress the subconscious
mind with your sincerity when you write out
motives for reaching and maintaining your ideal weight. This is
why it is so important to practice the method of forgiveness.
Forgive everyone and everything that has ever hurt you.
Then forgive yourself. Forgive others who have made unkind remarks
about your weight and size or your body. Forgive your body for
being over weight and for overeating in the past. It Is so
important to love yourself. Love your excess fat and weight
away. Reward yourself when you drop pounds with a luxurious bath,
invigorating stroll, quiet time, perfume or article of clothing.
Exercise
Physical exercise causes a slowing down of the
ageing process and brings about a reduction of excess fat and body
weight. With every one hour of exercise, you add two and one half
hours to your life. The greatest fat loss and muscle gain usually
occur with the evening exercise. This could be due to the fact
that the appetite is reduced for approximately two hours after
exercise. Endorphins, which are the body's calming chemicals are
released from the brain during exercise. This can also be
accomplished by laughing. Start your exercise program very
gradually, laugh, play, have fun and enjoy. Make it suited to your
age, shape, weight and lifestyle. Start a brisk walking program
for twenty minutes, three or four times per week. You may wish to
increase it as you gradually build up your strength and stamina.
After six weeks, or longer you may wish to increase your exercise
to every day for forty-five minutes. Do it at your own pace. It is
important to drink water before you exercise. This helps to keep
the body temperature from rising while exercising and replaces
water lost through the body sweating. People who exercise
regularly have more lean muscle fiber to capture and burn the fat
particles before they have a chance to establish a resting place
in the body. You may wish to incorporate yoga and deep breathing
exercises into your brand new life style program.
Make a twenty-one day agreement, utilizing the Law
of Habit with yourself to abstain from sweets, or any fattening
food. If you miss a day when doing the twenty-one day cycle
procedure, start again. It takes twenty-one days to make a habit.
Thank your body in advance for assisting you. Be aware of your
caloric intake and walk at least thirty minutes three times per
week. With each step affirm, "Slimmer, younger and
healthier." Do other exercises approved by your doctor or
naturopathic physician. Drink eight to ten glasses of pure,
sparkling water daily.
A well-balanced vitamin program is essential to
your weight reduction program. It is important while dropping
weight to keep healthy. Use a sensible healthy eating program,
approved by your doctor or naturopathic physician.
Say Drop, Melt or Burn - Never Say Lose!
Now for a little secret. Did you notice that I
have not mentioned anywhere that I desire to lose weight?
The reason for this is that when we lose something, what is the
first thing we try to do? We try to find it of course. We say
drop, melt, give away, or reduce weight and it stays gone! Have
you ever wondered why so many people, myself included, have been
on the weight merry-go-round. Around and around we go, trying
every available diet, fad, gum, reducing machine, treadmill, pill
program, etc. You condition yourself to dropping weight by stating
this fact to your subconscious mind and you do lose weight! (The
Law of Attraction in perfect operation helps you find and regain
that weight).
I feel this is one of the reasons we do not keep
our excess weight and fat off and under control. Your mind is a
powerful mechanism. When you go off your diet, your program is
finished, or you quit attending the club or organization, in most
cases the dropped weight is quickly regained usually with an extra
few pounds. This is why so many diet centers are now including a
maintenance program. I would like to see every diet establishment
in the country include in their weight loss program a simple set
of positive, weight dropping, Affirmations.
Watch careless self talk. It is so important what
you say to yourself or about yourself. Never say, or catch
yourself when you say, "I am so fat. I hate myself. My body
is ugly. I can't wear any decent clothes. I'll never lose
weight." Do some serious thought watching. If you think and
focus on thoughts of how fat you are, your subconscious mind will
take you at your word and keep you fat. Remember it is your humble
servant bringing to you what you decree.
Change those statements to positive ones. Say,
"I, (your name) deserve and now drop excess fat and weight
from my body easily and safely. I am healthy and slim to the good
of all parties concerned. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you."
You could also do a Short Form Affirmation that
reads, "Ideal Weight for Me." You may
abbreviate this to, "IWFM." In the Short
Form Affirmation Process you write out the abbreviated form
seventy-seven times every day. You only need to do the process
once a day. It is important to say the words, "Ideal weight
for me," as you are jotting down IWFM. Do this
process and enjoy the results. It is only a small amount of time
to accomplish such a wonderful task!
You already weigh your ideal weight, it just
has not happened yet!

LIVING MORE ABUNDANTLY

In the Bible in John, Jesus said, "Behold I
wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth."
Through a series of tapes, Living More
Abundantly please allow me to introduce you to methods how to
prosper in your life. Living more abundantly simple requires that
you let go of old perceived limitations. Abundance is about
opening yourself to receive more of everything, not just money.
Living more abundantly simple means that you live from the glory
and magnificence of God and that you express from that place so
completely that that becomes your life expression.
Four Spiritual Laws of Abundance -
1) The first spiritual law is that you are
required to tithe. In order to experience the energy flow of God,
as you, in your Universe you must tithe. Tithing simply means an
exchange of God-energy in the form of time, talents, skills or
money. You are made in the image of Jesus, the Christ, and that
Christ consciousness exists within you. Tithing is simply about
exchanging that energy of God as you put it out into the world and
receive it back. Tithing 10% is considered the normal, accepted
amount. If you feel you cannot tithe 10%, then tithe 7%. Check
inside and ask if 7% is the amount you wish to give. Take the
amount of what you earn per month, gross or net, whichever is more
comfortable to you, then divide that by four and tithe off that
10%. If that does not feel right, drop it to 7%. Begin somewhere,
but begin tithing. The minute you commit to tithing, you commit to
the act of having energy exchange and flow in you life. When you
tithe, know that God is your source and open that space to receive
more.
2) The second spiritual law is that you are
required to forgive. Forgiveness is the ability to let go of
anything that might be blocking your receiving more and giving
more out of that space of pure love and energy. When you forgive,
you release the energy of God as you, into fuller expression. This
is a continual process. It is like clearing out a clogged plumbing
line. You are the vessel through which God expresses and through
which that God energy flows. When you are willing and ready to
forgive, you begin to open up that line of energy expressing
through you. If there is anything or anyone you are experiencing
resentment or anger about or that is in the way of God-energy
expressing completely and fully in your life, you need to forgive
and get rid of that negativity.
3) The third spiritual law is to write down
on paper clear-cut, tangible goals stating how you want to live
your life more abundantly. This can be a financial goal, career,
relationship or anything that you desire. The minute you write
your goals, affirmations and wishes, the Universe (God) gets it.
The energy of the entire, infinite Universe go to work to bring
about the manifestation of your desires. People, places and events
come into perfect alignment to support you achieving your goals.
4) The fourth and final law of spiritual
abundance is to seek and find your Divine Purpose in life. What is
it that you are to be and to express? What are your gifts, your
uniqueness that only you can give as your Divine Purpose on this
earth in this lifetime? When you give from the place of your
Divine Purpose, your whole being is lit up. The passion of who you
are comes into full expression and shines through you. The world
is waiting for you to express from that place of your Divine
purpose. Every life you touch is gifted with something absolutely
necessary to assist in the full expression of every spiritual
being on the planet. The consciousness of the planet is raised and
lifted because you give the gift you were sent here to give.
Everything is made from the one Universal infinite
source of abundance. Universal abundance is a living, thinking,
intelligent energy source of God. Universal abundance is activated
through your faith and thoughts. When you start to demonstrate
prosperity and abundance through thinking into this metaphysical
law, you must look to God as your source of infinite supply. Live
and think in opulence and the goodness of God. Your contact is the
recognition of God as your source. You must think of everything
you do in terms of actual present ownership. Never pray for more
abundance, rather pray for a larger capacity to know and receive
abundance. Since there is no time but the present, you must always
act in the now. When you make your claim on that infinite
God Source, have a well-defined, mental equivalent or visual
picture in your mind of what you want. Always know that you are
receiving as fast as you can believe. Invoke the co-operation of
your whole mind in what you are doing. Never speak of negatives,
losses or failure. Remember that the thing you desire is God
wanting it through you.
Publisher’s Note:
One method that many of my readers and students
are having much success with is the Abbreviated or Short Form
Affirmation.
In this process you write on the top of the page, "Money
to Me Now." Then below jot down the abbreviated form
which would read, "$tmn," seventy-seven times. It
is very important that when are jotting down these letters that
you say out loud, "Money to Me Now." Time
yourself and you will discover that it only takes a few minutes of
your time and you reap great dividends. Try this process and see
what happens in your life in the next few months. Never worry and
stew about where the money is coming from -- Never be concerned
about the modus operandi, (the way it happens).

"I enjoy your Passport Newsletter so
much. It has helped me over many hard spots and bumps in the road.
I was wondering if you would share with the readers if you get
discouraged yourself at times. It is difficult to be positive when
everything is turning out negative all around you. How do you keep
yourself positive and on the right track?"
Dear Reader
"No, it is not possible to be absolutely
positive all the time, nor is it healthy. Life needs to have a
healthy balance and everything is based on duality. I find that if
I wake up feeling discouraged, sad or unhappy, I recognize it and
say to myself, "Self, you are allowed to wallow in your
self-pity and unhappiness for fifteen minutes and then you will
come out of it." So I sink deep into my unhappy state... but
I soon discover that I do not like it there, it is devoid of light
and peace. Usually, I only stay there for about five minutes and
then pick myself up and go on with my life. Every one of us has
problems (opportunities), some of them with work clothes, but it
is not what happens to us in life, it is how we handle what
happens to us that counts."
One reader said to me to-day, when I told him that
I have negative thoughts for periods of time, that it made him
feel better, just knowing that. He thought that I always lived,
ate and breathed positivity. Now that would be a wonderful state
-- perhaps the ultimate state, but few of us have arrived there. I
have heard of some people that spend all day meditating and
experience great peace. We all live in the world. We must be
involved and present in the moment to experience life successfully
and be happy. Good Luck with your positive thoughts.

I am excited to see that the Passport 2000 people
have added a column such as yours. I am frustrated and worried as
my boyfriend of three years still has not committed to me. I was
fully expecting an engagement ring for Christmas and I got a new
watch. I really do not think a watch is a commitment gift, do you?
Please let me know what I can do to make him commit to me. I think
I have tried just about everything under the sun. Am I wasting my
time on him? Now that I have spent the last three years on him, I
do feel that I have a long-term investment. Please advise. Talk to
the Guy upstairs, the cards or whatever, just come up with a plan,

Definitely a watch is not a commitment gift. Your
boyfriend might be afraid of commitment. Yes, you do have a
long-term investment, but sometimes we have to cut our losses and
go onto the next. Give him a deadline...a ring and a date within
the next three months and mean it. Then walk away if there is no
commitment. Take what you have learned from this relationship.
Next time, give a relationship only one year of your time. If
nothing happens, get on with being open to the next relationship.

Dear Caroline
I am a single guy of thirty. I met the girl of my
dreams over the Internet. I have heard horror stories about some
such romances, but I thought mine was different. She sent me
pictures and we talked over the Net for hours. I flew to New York
and met her at a designated place. We had a romantic dinner, went
to a show and spent three nights together. When I left, we both
pledged our undying love for each other and made plans to get
together the following month. I was on cloud nine and told all my
pals. Some of them were very envious and some didn’t care. The
point is, since I arrived home I have e-mailed her dozens of
times, tried to call her and wrote to her and she has not
responded. Her roommate always says that she is not available What
should I do? Should I take another trip to New York and surprise
her? Do you think she has cold feet or found another lover?
Please, I am waiting for your answer in the next Newsletter. I am

Take the roommate’s advice --- she is not available. She is onto

I have been seeing Vince for the past eighteen

dress up in women’s clothes. He will want to do it more often
than just for a lark. Do not humour him if you do not like this
behaviour. If you find this behaviour unacceptable, then leave him
